The Jammu and Kashmir government has recently approved the promotion of 665 trained graduate and post-graduate teachers. These teachers, who hold a B.Ed degree, will now be promoted to the position of Masters in Pay Level-6 E with a salary range of 35900-113500.
The promotion is based on the decision made by the Divisional Departmental Promotion Committee during their meeting on December 20, 2022.
The promotion will take effect from the same date and is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions. The names of the teachers who have been promoted are listed in Annexure A to J, which are categorized by district. This move by the government is aimed at improving the standard of education in the region and recognizes the hard work and dedication of these teachers.
