In a significant move aimed at enhancing the academic standards within the School Education Department of Jammu & Kashmir, and nurturing the immense potential of our students, the department has issued Circular No. 03-JK(EDU) of 2023. This directive, dated 8th September 2023, encourages the enthusiastic involvement of our proficient lecturers in teaching not only at the +2 level but also at the 9th and 10th standards.

The Rationale Behind the Directive

The key objective behind this directive is to expose our students to highly qualified and experienced teaching staff. By having lecturers engage in teaching at the 9th and 10th standards, students will benefit from the rich reservoir of knowledge that these educators possess. This, in turn, will prepare our students to compete at the national level in various competitive examinations.

Active Participation of Head of Institutions and Lecturers

To ensure the effective implementation of this directive, both the heads of educational institutions and the lecturers themselves are expected to wholeheartedly comply with these instructions in both word and deed. It’s not merely a suggestion but a commitment to providing the best educational resources to our students.

Monitoring and Reporting

To oversee the execution of this directive, concerned Chief Education Officers will be required to submit monthly reports detailing the progress and challenges faced in implementing this initiative. This reporting mechanism will serve as a valuable tool for tracking compliance and addressing any issues that may arise.

Consequences of Noncompliance

Noncompliance with Circular No. 03-JK(EDU) of 2023 will be treated with the utmost seriousness. The department recognizes the importance of this initiative and is committed to ensuring its successful execution.
