CEOs and Equivalent Positions Transferred Across Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 23: In a decisive move, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued orders on Thursday for the immediate transfers and postings of Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and their equivalents.

Abdul Hamid Fani, formerly Chief Education Officer in Kupwara, will now assume the position of Chief Education Officer in Srinagar. Meanwhile, Mohammad Mushtaq, who served as Chief Education Officer in Shopian, has been transferred to Poonch to take on the role of Chief Education Officer.

The reshuffling continues with Parkash Lal Thappa, previously the L/A Chief Education Officer in Kathua, now appointed as the L/A Principal at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Doda. Kishore Kumar, recalled from JKSCERT, will take on the role of L/A Chief Education Officer in Kathua.

Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri, the former L/A Chief Education Officer in Kulgam, has been transferred to Anantnag in the same capacity. Jagdeep Kumar Padha, who served as the Coordinator for Samagra Shiksha, is now the L/A Chief Education Officer in Jammu.

Simultaneously, Majid Ahmad Kohli, the L/A Chief Education Officer in Ganderbal, will now be the L/A Principal at DIET in Ganderbal. Bishamber Dass, who held the position of L/A Chief Education Officer in Poonch, has been transferred to Rajouri.

Romi Kumar, recalled from JKSCERT, will serve as the L/A Principal at DIET in Kishtwar. Mohammad Shabir, the former L/A Chief Education Officer in Srinagar, takes on the role of L/A Chief Education Officer in Shopian.

Other changes include Kamal Kishore Badyal, the former L/A Chief Education Officer in Anantnag, who is now appointed as the L/A Principal at DIET in Anantnag. Sandhra Malhotra, previously the L/A Principal at DIET in Doda, will now serve in the same capacity in Jammu.

The notable transfer includes Abdul Majeed Dar, former L/A Principal at DIET in Bandipora, who has been appointed as the L/A Chief Education Officer in Kupwara. Additionally, Mohammad Yousaf Jan, the former L/A Principal at DIET in Ganderbal, will now assume the position of L/A Chief Education Officer in Kulgam.

Muzamil Akhter, who served as the L/A Principal at DIET in Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as the L/A Chief Education Officer in Ganderbal.
