The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam pattern for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023. CUET is a national-level entrance examination for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate programmes at participating universities. The CUET UG exam pattern includes details on the marking scheme, question pattern, exam duration, type of questions, mode of exam, and total marks.
The exam will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test) in three slots. The first slot has a duration of 45 to 195 minutes, the second slot has a duration of 45 to 225 minutes, and the duration of the third slot will be notified soon.
The CUET 2023 exam consists of four sections (Section IA, IB, II, and III), which include one language test, two domain-specific papers, and the general test. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu. Additionally, the CUET 2023 exam also includes optional language subjects such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese.
