School Education Department Likely to Issue Two Types of Textbooks from This Year
In an effort to address financial constraints, the School Education Department in Kashmir is planning to issue two types of textbooks for school students from the current academic year.
According to Tassaduq Hussain Mir, the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), one type of textbook will be provided free of cost to students and will have a different quality of paper compared to another type of textbook that will be available for purchase from the market.
Mir stated that the decision to issue two types of textbooks with varying paper quality has been taken in order to align with financial constraints.
He further added that this matter has been discussed with the Principal Secretary of the School Education Department, who has responded positively to the proposal. It is likely that this decision will be implemented in the current academic year.
This move by the School Education Department aims to bridge the gap between government and private institutions. By providing different types of textbooks, the department aims to ensure that students have access to essential learning materials while also considering the financial limitations faced by the government.
This decision is expected to benefit students in Kashmir and contribute to their overall educational experience.Facebook or follow us on Twitter and Instagram. Subscribe us on Telegram and never miss a update!
