Winter Vacation Schedule Announced for Schools in Kashmir Division

In a recent development, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Directorate of School Education Kashmir, has issued an official order regarding winter vacations for schools in the Kashmir Division.

The order, numbered 310-DSEK of 2023 and dated 25-11-2023, outlines the following schedule for winter vacations:

-Up to 8th Standard:
– Duration: 28th November, 2023, to 29th February, 2024
– 9th to 12th Standard:
– Duration: 11th December, 2023, to 29th February, 2024

The teaching staff is required to resume duty on 21st February, 2024, to facilitate preparations for upcoming examinations.

Additionally, teachers are expected to remain accessible for online guidance to students throughout the vacation period.

The order emphasizes strict adherence to the provided schedule, and any deviation by the Head of the Schools or teaching staff may result in disciplinary action as per established rules.
