Jammu and Kashmir Police Border Battalion Cancels Results of 2 Battalions Due to Discrepancies

The Jammu and Kashmir Police Border Battalion has cancelled the results of two battalions following discrepancies discovered during the examination for 1300 constable posts. The examination was held on October 26, 2022, and the results were declared on January 25, 2023.

The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Coordination, PHQ J&K, Danesh Rana, stated that the discrepancies were observed due to a technical fault in the software application of the implementing agency, M/S. Timing Technologies Pvt. India Ltd. The errors resulted in the revision of the result. A notification was issued by the ADGP Coordination stating that the previously declared final result issued on January 25, 2023, in respect of candidates of UT of J&K, has been withdrawn and cancelled ab-initio due to the technical fault.

Rana further mentioned that the revised results for the 1300 constable posts will be issued within half an hour. This move has been taken to ensure the integrity of the examination process and maintain transparency in the recruitment process of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Border Battalion.

The cancellation of the results has created some concern among the aspirants who appeared for the examination. However, the authorities have assured them that the revised results will be issued promptly and that the candidates will be notified accordingly.
