Kashmir Cyber Police swiftly responded to concerns raised by the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) regarding the disturbing prevalence of offensive language directed at the corporation through various social media platforms, a consequence of unscheduled power outages.
On X date, KPDCL urgently appealed to @Cyberpolicekmr and @KashmirPolice, stating, “URGENT! @Cyberpolicekmr @KashmirPolice, please take note of these abusive X handles using derogatory language against #KPDCL. Trace their ISPs/IDs and initiate action.”
In response, the Cyber Police promptly initiated legal proceedings.
The official X handle of Cyber Police Kashmir conveyed, “@Cyberpolicekmr has acknowledged the matter. Legal action is underway.
