The government of J&K has decided to go fully digital, making all government services available through an online mode.

The Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, directed the Commissioner Secretary of IT to ensure that the transition to digital services is smooth and efficient.

Control rooms have been set up in various government support to the public during the transition.

Awareness campaigns and programs will be conducted in educational institutions and at the Panchayat level to inform citizens about the new digital services.

Over 400 services have already been transitioned to an online mode, with many of them integrated with a quality check and feedback mechanism. These services are also being made available through digital portals such as e-UNNAT, Service Plus, and Digi Locker for ease of access for the general public.
