Jammu Kashmir to Introduce Hindi Language Classes in Schools

The Jammu Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT) has taken a significant step towards promoting the Hindi language in the state.

The organization has constituted an eight-member committee to suggest a mechanism for teaching and learning the language in schools from grades 1 to 10th.

The committee will be led by the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) and will include other prominent members from the education sector in the state. The committee will be responsible for recommending the ways to teach Hindi language effectively in the schools of Jammu and Kashmir.

The director of JKSCERT has emphasized the importance of Hindi language education in the state and expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to come up with a comprehensive plan for its implementation. The committee has been given a deadline of February 20th, 2023, to submit its recommendations.

The move to introduce Hindi language classes in schools is aimed at promoting national integration and cultural exchange among students in the state. It is also expected to provide students with better job opportunities in the future as Hindi is widely spoken and understood across the country.
