Government Announces Key Transfers in Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department
In a recent development, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir’s Tourism Department has issued a transfer and posting order, highlighting administrative efficiency.
The changes, outlined in Government Order No. 20-JK(TSM) of 2023, are effective immediately from November 14, 2023.
1. Mr. Jahid Azad: The Junior Scale JKAS officer, previously awaiting orders of adjustment in the Tourism Department, has been posted as Assistant Director (Tourism) in Pahalgam, filling a vacant position.
2. Mr. Bilal Ahmad Mir: Formerly in charge as Tourist Officer in Pahalgam, Mr. Mir has been transferred and posted to the Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir.
These strategic personnel adjustments, directed by Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, IAS Secretary to the Government, aim to streamline the functioning of the Tourism Department for enhanced effectiveness.
