Government Suspends Regional Director of Survey & Land Records in Anantnag
Srinagar, Nov 28 (PK) – The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken the decision to suspend Mr. Abdul Hafiz Shah, JKAS, Regional Director of Survey & Land Records, Anantnag, pending an inquiry into his conduct.
The suspension, effective immediately, is in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
An official order obtained by ProKashmiri states, “Pending inquiry into his conduct, Mr. Abdul Hafiz Shah, JKAS, Regional Director, Survey & Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Anantnag, is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.”
The order further specifies that during the period of suspension, Mr. Shah will remain attached to the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir. (PK)
