J&K Govt Transfers JKAS Officer Posted In Chief Secretary’s Office

Srinagar: In a recent development, the General Administration Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued Government Order No.1492-JK(GAD) of 2023 on November 27, 2023, announcing the transfer and posting of Mr. Soheel Noor Shah, JKAS.

Mr. Shah, who previously held the position of Additional Secretary in the office of Chief Secretary, will now serve as the Additional Secretary to the Government in the Health and Medical Education Department.

The official order stated that the transfer is in the interest of administration, and Mr. Soheel Noor Shah is expected to assume his new responsibilities on November 30, 2023.

This move aims to optimize administrative efficiency and align expertise with the specific needs of the Health and Medical Education Department.

The order has been communicated to various key stakeholders, including the Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, Joint Secretary (Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh) at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and the Administrative Secretary of the Health and Medical Education Department.
