Power Shutdown in Anantnag for Clearing Punch Points Raised by TTIC

Anantnag, 23rd February 2023: The Power Development Department in Anantnag has announced a power shutdown today in order to facilitate the clearing of punch points raised by the Transmission and Technical Inspection Cell (TTIC). The shutdown is being executed by Project Division Anantnag and will affect the 33 KV Arkashipora tap line, which has a grid at Lisser.

The power shutdown will commence at 11 AM and is expected to last until 4 PM. This temporary disruption is necessary to ensure the safety of the workers and the public while the necessary maintenance work is carried out.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Engineer (Distribution) KPDCL, the shutdown is required to carry out essential maintenance work and ensure the smooth and safe functioning of the power distribution network in the area.

The public is advised to take necessary precautions during the power outage, and the department has requested their cooperation during this temporary inconvenience.

The Power Development Department in Anantnag is committed to ensuring uninterrupted and reliable power supply to its consumers. This temporary power shutdown is a part of their ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade the power distribution infrastructure in the region.
