The Baramulla and Boniyar district administration in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has asked people who have encroached upon state land to remove encroachments on their own within 2 days.

The authorities have warned that if any person fails to remove the encroachment, the department would take action and the people will have to pay the charges for the removal.

The notice also states that strict action under law will be taken against those who fail to remove illegal encroachments over the land.

Similar notices have been issued by the authorities in Boniyar area as well.
The government has issued directions to all deputy commissioners to ensure 100 percent removal of encroachments from state land by the end of this month.

Failure to comply with the notice and remove the encroachments within the given time frame may result in legal action being taken against the encroachers.
