Despite the chaos caused by an earthquake, doctors at a hospital in Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, successfully delivered a baby through lower-segment cesarean section on Tuesday.

The Sub District Hospital in Bijbehara was performing an emergency LSCS when the tremors of the 6.6-magnitude earthquake were felt throughout the Valley.

A video tweeted by the district’s chief medical officer showed the hospital staff staying calm and composed during the delivery, even as the ground shook violently around them. The medical team was praised for their efforts in smoothly conducting the LSCS, with the tweet thanking them for their hard work and dedication.

The earthquake caused panic among the residents of the Valley, with many rushing out of their homes in search of safety. However, the successful delivery at the hospital brought a moment of relief and hope amidst the chaos.
