Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Withdraws Migration and Eligibility Notification

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has recently made an important announcement regarding the withdrawal of a notification concerning migration and eligibility for the Kashmir Division. The notification, numbered F (Mig/Elig-Online/B) 23/KD and dated May 9, 2023, has been officially rescinded. This decision was taken in compliance with instructions from the authorities at JKBOSE.

The withdrawal of the notification implies that the guidelines and instructions originally outlined in the aforementioned document are no longer valid. Stakeholders and concerned individuals are hereby informed that a fresh notification addressing migration and eligibility matters for the Kashmir Division will be issued at a later date. This new notification will provide updated guidelines and instructions to ensure clarity and accuracy in the migration and eligibility processes.

The Assistant Secretary of Registration in the Kashmir Division has issued Circular No. F (Exam-III/Cir) B.KD/23 dated May 12, 2023, announcing the withdrawal of the notification and the subsequent issuance of a fresh notification in due course. Copies of this circular have been shared with various departments and personnel for their information and necessary action.

The circular has been copied to the following entities: the Director of Academics Central, the Joint Secretary of IT&SS at JKBOSE, the Joint Secretary of Registration/General/Examinations in the Kashmir Division, the Assistant Secretary General at BOSE Office in Srinagar, the Information Officer in the Kashmir Division (with a request to publish the notice in two local daily newspapers for wider dissemination), the Personal Secretary to the Chairman Secretary, the Officers/Officer In charge of the District Tehsil Offices of JKBOSE, the Assistant Secretary of IT&SS in the Kashmir Division (to upload the circular on the JKBOSE website), the Accounts Officer in the Kashmir Division, and the Notice Board/Concerned file.

Stakeholders are urged to stay informed about further developments by regularly checking the official communication channels of JKBOSE. The Board remains committed to providing accurate and up-to-date information to ensure a smooth migration and eligibility process for students in the Kashmir Division.
