Students Appeal for Rescheduling of BOSE Exam Clashing with Jamia Millia Entrance

In a plea to the authorities, students of class 12th under the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) have requested the rescheduling of their physical education paper, as it clashes with the entrance test for undergraduate courses at Jamia Millia University. The students expressed their concerns and urged the authorities to take action to avoid the overlap.

A delegation of students approached Kashmir News Observer (KNO) and highlighted the issue. They emphasized that the physical education paper is currently scheduled for 29th April, which coincides with the date of the entrance test at Jamia Millia University. This clash has created difficulties for students who aspire to appear for both exams.

“We request principal secretary, Education Alok Kumar and chairman Board of School Education PR Manhas to reschedule examination of the physical education paper so that hundreds of aspirants from Kashmir Valley can appear in the entrance examination being conducted by Jamia Millia University,” said the students.

The students pointed out that the clash of exam dates has put them in a challenging situation, as they have been preparing for both the BOSE exams and the Jamia Millia entrance test simultaneously. Rescheduling the physical education paper would allow them to have a fair opportunity to appear for both exams without any hindrance.

The students have urged the authorities to consider their request and take necessary steps to reschedule the physical education paper to a date that does not clash with the Jamia Millia entrance test. They believe that such action would enable students from the Kashmir Valley to have equal opportunities and not miss out on any crucial exams.

As of now, there has been no official response from the BOSE or Jamia Millia University regarding the students’ appeal. However, the students remain hopeful that their request will be considered and a solution will be found to avoid the clash of exam dates, allowing them to pursue their academic aspirations without any obstacles.
