JKBOSE: Online Registration Guidelines for Classes 11th & 12th

In a significant move towards digitizing education processes, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has unveiled a user-friendly online renewal registration system for students in Classes 11th and 12th for the academic session 2023-24.

The process, aimed at simplifying the renewal of registrations, involves a series of steps designed to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative complexities. Here is a step-by-step guide for schools:

Visit Official Website: Schools are instructed to visit the official JKBOSE website at www.jkbose.nic.in. Once there, navigate to the “Online Services” section on the homepage and click on the “RR Renewal for Class 11th/12th” link.

Official Login: Using the “Official Login” window, schools are required to log in to the Clerk Account.

Renewal Registration Selection: Once logged in, access the dashboard and select the “Renewal Registration for Class 11th/12th” option.

Enter Registration Number: Input the relevant registration number in the designated field. The system will automatically retrieve the candidate’s registered data.

Upload Photograph and Signature: Schools need to upload the candidate’s latest photograph and signature (within the 10 KB to 50 KB range). It’s crucial to verify all details, especially the photograph, subjects, and signatures, before the final submission.

Subject Selection and Submission: For Class 11th, schools must select the subjects. For Class 12th, subjects will be auto-fetched based on the choices made in Class 11th. After submission, the Renewal Registration form will be forwarded for approval to the “Principal Account” of the respective school.

Fee Payment: The prescribed Renewal Registration fee should be paid collectively through the “School (Clerk) Account” after the Principal approves the form. Direct payments by students are not permissible.

Eligibility and Migration Cases: Eligibility cases are exempted from filling the RR Renewal form, as their entries will automatically be reflected. In migration cases, the school clerk can obtain approval from the principal account and then pay the prescribed fee through the school account.

No Corrections After Fee Payment: An important note is that once the fee has been paid, no corrections will be allowed. It is the responsibility of the institution to ensure all details are accurate before making the payment.
