Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited applications through online mode for the post of Assistant Professor in various B.Sc Nursing colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The notification was issued on May 2, 2023, by the Health and Medical Education Department, in reference to ME-NG/11/2021-09 dated 08.02.2023.

The applications are invited from the applicants who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess the prescribed academic/professional qualification and age for the post. The details of the various colleges and eligibility criteria can be found in the Government Order No. 327-JK(HME) of 2021 dated 28.04.2021 and the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business and Procedure) Rules, 2021 as amended up to date.

The Application Form and instructions for filling it up will be available on the website of the Commission from May 5, 2023. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before filling the online Application Form. They are also advised to update their One Time Registration before filling the application Form.

The last date for filling up the online application form is June 4, 2023, and the last date for editing some fields in the online application form is from June 5 to June 7, 2023. Candidates should note that the last date for receipt of online applications provided in the notification shall be the cut-off date for determining the eligibility as regards acquisition of Domicile Certificates and educational and professional qualifications.

It is important to note that the minimum and maximum age will be reckoned with reference to January 1, 2023. Candidates are not required to submit a hard copy of the application form or any other documents to the Commission.
