India Post has announced a recruitment drive for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) for a total of 40,889 vacancies for the year 2023. The positions available are Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak. The application submission period is from 27.01.2023 to 16.02.2023, with a correction window from 17.02.2023 to 19.02.2023.

Salary:

BPM: Rs.12,000/- -29,380/-
ABPM/Dak Sevak: Rs.10,000/- -24,470/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with Mathematics and English as compulsory or elective subjects from a recognized Board of School Education in India.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years (as on the last date of application submission)

Selection Criteria:

Shortlisted applicants will be selected on the basis of a system-generated merit list, prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard, calculated to the accuracy of 4 decimals. All subjects must be passed as per the respective approved board norms.
