J&K Bank Invites Applications for Divisional/Zonal Security Officers on Contract

Jammu and Kashmir Bank has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Divisional/Zonal Security Officers on a contractual basis. The bank is looking to fill one position each for Divisional Security Officer at its Zonal Office in Srinagar and Zonal Security Officer at its Zonal Office in Kathua.

As per the notification released by the Bank, the candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience as Superintendent of Police or equivalent for Divisional Security Officer position and as Deputy Superintendent of Police or equivalent for the Zonal Security Officer position. The candidate should have excellent/meritorious service records in the Police/Army/Paramilitary forces.

The Bank has emphasized that the selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring the security of the bank’s premises, staff, customers, and assets. They will have to monitor and report any suspicious activities, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies when required.

The Bank has set the maximum age limit for the position at 62 years as of 01.01.2023. The contract tenure for engagement of Security Officers will be for a period of three years subject to annual satisfactory performance review. The selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 50,000 for the Divisional Security Officer position and Rs. 45,000 for the Zonal Security Officer position. In addition, for official tours/visits, TA/DA will be admissible.

The Bank has requested the candidates to submit duly filled application forms along with all the required credentials via email to recruitment@jkbmail.com by or before 14.03.2023. The applications will be screened for shortlisting of the eligible candidates, and the shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Interaction to assess knowledge, experience, and skill. The Bank has also emphasized that all future announcements/details pertaining to this process will only be communicated through the registered email-id of the candidate.

The Bank has laid down other terms and conditions that will be applicable as per rules of the Bank. The intimation/call letter for the interview will be sent by email, and no hard copy will be sent.
