A recent road accident in Durg, Chhattisgarh has become a viral sensation, with netizens creating numerous jokes and memes about the incident. The collision involved Tata’s discontinued economy car, the Nano, and Mahindra’s premium SUV, the Thar, resulting in the latter flipping over while the former sustained only minor damage.
The incident occurred in the Padmanapur police station area when a speeding Thar was T-boned by a Nano, causing the SUV to overturn. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, except perhaps for the Thar’s reputation.
According to Inspector Rajiv Tiwari, “An accident took place between a Tata Nano and a Thar near the Padmanapur mini stadium under the Padmanabhpur police station around 12.30 pm. The Thar overturned, but no report has been lodged as no one was injured.”
A video capturing the aftermath of the accident has been shared online, depicting the overturned Thar and the minimally damaged Nano car.
