Kashmir Braces for Fresh Western Disturbance, Light to Moderate Rain and Snow Expected

A fresh western disturbance is currently affecting parts of Jammu and Kashmir, bringing with it a spell of light to moderate rain and snow. This weather activity is expected to be concentrated in the Kashmir region, with the plains including Srinagar city likely to experience fresh rain or snow from midnight to late afternoon on February 6th.

According to the latest weather forecast, the higher reaches of Kashmir will receive a moderate spell of snowfall during this period, with peak intensity expected from early morning to late afternoon.

The weather is expected to improve from late afternoon/evening of February 6th, with dry weather predicted for the next two days, February 7th and 8th.
