J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination – 2023 Notification Released

The General Administration Department of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir has released Notification No: 12-PSC (DR-P) OF 2023 Dated: 13-04-2023 inviting applications through online mode for the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2023. The examination will be conducted in accordance with the rules laid down vide SRO-103 of 2018 Dated: 23.02.2018 and S.O 61 of 2021, dated 23-02-2021, issued by the General Administration Department Government of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, and up-to-date J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022.

The Application Form along with instructions for filling up the Application Forms will be available on the website of the Commission from 17.04.2023. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions and eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before filling the online Application Form.

The last date for filling the online Application Form complete in all respects along with the requisite fee (online mode only) is 16.05.2023. The last date for receipt of online applications mentioned in the notification will be the cut-off date for determining the eligibility with regards to acquisition of Domicile Certificates and educational and professional qualifications. The minimum and maximum age will be reckoned with reference to 1st January, 2023.

Candidates will have the option to edit some fields in their online application form from 17.05.2023 (12:00 am) to 19.05.2023 (11:59 pm) for a period of 3 days. Instructions in this regard will be made available on the website.

Candidates are not required to submit a hard copy or any other documents to the Commission. It is advised that candidates submit their online applications well before the closing date to avoid the possibility of disconnection, inability to pay the fee or failure to login to the online application portal due to heavy load on the website during the closing days.

The tentative date of the Preliminary Examination, which will be conducted in two sessions, is 23rd July, 2023. The tentative date for commencement of the Main Examination is the 2nd week of November, 2023.
